Field Trial Champion Labrador Bitches All our Labrador bitches have excellent field trial pedigrees, have clear eye certificates and good hip & elbow scores. We are now 'Optigen'GPRA & CNM Labrador Myopathy testing all our stock and we probably were the first breeder in Ireland to carry out this genetic test. Our Labrador bitches are all worked regularly on a variety of different terrains and possess impressive levels of agility and stamina to work full time throughout the season. Copperbirch as a rule, does not keep any brood Labrador bitches and as a result all our litters are descendants of both strong working Labrador and field trial lines. We only keep Labrador bitches that are capable of being trained to field trial standard. Have natural game finding ability, intelligence, honesty and a sound temperament. Some have already won field trial and working test awards and others are either shooting bitches or bitches currently in field trial training.
