Copperbirch labradors The ‘Copperbirch’ affix was first registered with both the English and Irish Kennel Clubs in 1996 by professional dog trainer Keith Mathews. Since that time Keith has bred several champion and field trial winning dogs. Keith Mathews’s ‘Copperbirch’ line of Labradors has gained him international acclaim because of his pioneering dedication to a rigorous breeding programme to try to minimise and eliminate genetic abnormalities. Copperbirch labrador pups have found homes as far away as Iceland, South Africa, Asia, the USA, Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Russia and Australia. Labrador kennel The ‘Copperbirch’ Labrador kennel is renown as one of Irelands top quality kennels for producing healthy Irish bred Labradors for pets, field trialling and the shooting field. We are ‘Kennel Club Accredited’ Labrador breeders and regularly compete in field trials and working tests. We work our dogs full-time on a variety of different terrains throughout the shooting season. All our Labradors are hip and elbow scored, eye tested and optigen PRA tested. We have several litters of Labrador puppies throughout the year and are able to export them to any part of the world.
